Like anything else on your vehicle, keeping various systems clean and in good shape is essential to long life and reliability. Your fuel system is especially important - parts are expensive, problems can be difficult to diagnose, and it doesn’t take much contamination to cause a huge issue. It’s much easier to keep your fuel system clean than it is to clean a dirty or problematic system. Performing regular fuel treatment can prove very beneficial to the life of your vehicle.
If your car, truck or SUV is experiencing engine issues and you are concerned about having to purchase a new vehicle, our technicians at Kelley's Auto & Diesel Repair in Crestview have an answer that will save you money and help you maintain the value of your vehicle. Today's vehicles cost more than they ever did and you typically have a loan for a much longer time period - yet the warranty it seems stays relatively short!
Here, we believe in treating your vehicle as if it were ours and if your engine is not reliable we can replace it with a JASPER replacement engine with a nationwide parts and labor warranty! It is what we would do with our car, truck or SUV instead of trading it for a higher payment or a vehicle we didn't like as much as what we had!
The exhaust on your truck is an important series of components, that work together to ensure smooth, reliable operation. At Kelley's Auto & Diesel Repair in Crestview, we also know that exhaust systems are especially susceptible to damage and rust; pipes, mufflers, and other parts are exposed to hazards on the road, and to the environment. This situation, combined with caustic emissions and extreme heat, creates a perfect opportunity for problems to arise.
Your car’s radio and headlights, plus a slew of other important functions, are powered by an electrical current generated by your vehicle’s engine. A vital part of generating electricity is having a place to store it while it’s not being used. This is where your car battery comes into play. The battery of your vehicle holds electrical energy while the car is off in order to help the engine turn over and create a spark to start internal combustion. Without a working battery, your car will not be able to start. If you allow our team here at Kelley's Auto & Diesel Repair to perform proper maintenance, an average car battery can start your car reliably for roughly four years.
Transmission malfunctions are sometimes hard to pin down and might even go unnoticed. A transmission slip can manifest itself in a lot of different ways because there’s not a universal or consistent way to describe it. Since it will vary based on the vehicle, how bad the issue is, and what components are at fault, here are some symptoms to look for in your vehicle.
Had this guy do alot of my bullet proofing for my 6.0l a few years back. Great service. PS Kelly.... your welcome for helping fund that new shop lol I also wanna add in here, I haven't been stationed at 7th SFG(A) group since I departed there in October of 2018. However I still reach back and call Kelley's for advice at times. (I probably annoy them at times lol) I'm actually driving down to Florida this weekend across the US to have Kelley work on my 6.7 next week. Sure, a local shop maybe cheaper than the repair plus the fuel spent driving down to Florida, however with Kelley I know it's gonna be done right. If that speaks any volumes of how much I trust this shop working on my stuff.
